Hatmonger Alert!
I have almost finished my messenger bag, and all I need to do is sew it together. I'm planning to do that Monday when I go to my knitting group. In the meantime, I've started the Funky Ski Hat pattern that I found in the book "Hollywood Knits" by Suss Cousins. It's the hat that was made for the movie, The Grinch. It's made out of mohair, (LaGran) so that's coming out interestingly. I almost have the ribbing done...but my mom confiscated the project. I actually bought some mohair by Jo Sharp in West Concord, but that was too thin, I had to start all over... Then my family and I stopped by Harvard, Mass. on the way to my grandparent's, so I picked up two balls of LaGran in a gorgeous mottled purple/blue and a ball in white. So far, it look's pretty good.
I added a list of the projects I would like to complete. I've just noticed, they're mostly hats...
I am officially becoming a hatmonger. Funny. I don't ususally like them, because I look like a complete doofus when I DO wear them.
The pups are doing good, winning a few more contests. Oh, I was just checking out a guide, and they said that German Shepards were ugly! Ugh, I am disgusted. They rock!

Once Upon A Time
In lieu of introducing myself, I invite you to read "About Me". Tralala and all that. Down to business. Recent happenings in my profound life:
February Break! Actually, it's not so much of a good thing, considering my vacation is being consumed by my American Author Thesis (The "Big Paper" of the year.) and grammar workbooks. The latter is not so much of a bad thing, just incredibly lengthy. You might say, "Chloe, you are clearly not working on these now, considering the fact that you're BLOGGING." But, uhm, uh... Okay, I'm blogging NOW. I promise I will work on those until my hands scream for mercy. Just, later.
I am a procrastinator. Organization Target One!
Second recent happening. Well, the obvious. I officially have a blog: "raincludknits". So, welcome! I hope you enjoy.
Lastly, I am a "Nintendogs" player on my sisters Nintendo DS. Tragic, but fun! (Explanation: I live in a townhouse which doesn't allow pets, thusly virtual gaming is as close as I get.) And... I just got two new dogs, bringing my total tally up to three. They're completely adorable!
First is Ginger. I have a picture of her below. Ginger is a Shetland Sheepdog puppy, and very tomboyish. She's the most energetic of the three, and a little bit of a bully to poor Claude. She also just won the Beginner Class of the Disc Competition, yay! Her favorite toy is currently the white rubber bone I picked up with Diego on one of my walks.
There. Isn't she the cutest? But she's still very stubborn, and I have to do something about the slight mean streak in regards to Claude. I think it's jealousy. Now I'm psychoanalyzing virtual life... Well, I did say "Read at your own risk".
The most recent addition to my little family is Claude, who's a golden dachsdund. I think I spelt that right. Make it wrong. That really looks strange to me. Anyways, Claude's the "sweetie" of the bunch. She gives me lots of pressies, like Ginger's holding above. I haven't entered Claude in any contests yet, so we'll see about that arena later. Claude loves playing with the terry-cloth cube, and it's really funny to see her walking around with it, considering it's almost as big as her head.
Diego is my first dog, and the biggest and only boy out of my fambly. He's a german sheperd pup, who looks very dashing when he wears the Japanese Collar. He and Claude are buddies.
I know this was supposed to be a knitting blog...
My current project, actually my first since I was about eight, is a garter stitch messenger bag. It's acutally very basic, so I'm planning on jazzing it up with some embroidery. It's very vintage-chic. I have no clue what I'm talking about in regards to fashion so excuse me. I currently have the body of the bag done; just working on the handle and the embroidery and then putting it together.
I really have to get my Am-Auth work started. Sigh, Life is reponsibility after responsibility...
Thanks for reading and ta for now~
Me.
